Rosporden The "City of Ponds ."

The "city of lakes" is located in the heart of Cornwall. Rosporden ponds were formed by a dam on the course of Aven, they date back to the Middle Ages, the large pond then serves the city of protection. This greenway is built on the old railway line that leads from Concarneau in Roscoff, in the two departments of Finistere and Morbihan. The old part Rosporden Gourin was constructed recently. The whole course is beautiful, very shady, with views of the Breton countryside, long passages under the vaults of trees, and the crossing of the black mountains followed by a long descent to the channel.
